New face mask recipe!

Hello World! Hey everyone! I'm back n the blog world! There's been so much going on in the world of Rebel flower company, that I took a much need hiatus. thought I was ready to come back but turns out I wasn't yet. Really felt this blog was mainly for soapnuts, and all the info was here, so there wasn't much needed to post. This is still true, if you looking for soapnut recipes or ideas they are just a few posts down. I had a bit of a health crisis in the last few months as I started dealing with systemic Candida. This is a nasty health issue that brings on migraines, chronic fatigue, mental fogginess, IBS and a bunch of other issues. http://www.candidasupport.org (A little info if you want to read more ) With dealing with my health, and raising an awesome 2 year old son as well as working part time and maintaining rebel flower company, life has been very busy!!!
I'm a very natural 'crunchy' gal (obviously, with my love of soapnuts!) and I thought I'd share with you a neat little face mask recipe I'm trying out as we speak (my face is literally covered in honey as type) that I got from www.crunchybetty.com
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp of honey
and either 6 aspirin or 2 pinchs of ground meadow sweet.
The original recipe at crunchy betty calls for aspirin, for the salicylic acid, but I sub for the herb meadow sweet because it contains the same acid, in a natural form as apposed to synthetic.
(I'd like to note here, my husband just looked at me and said 'What's on your FACE?')
Let the aspirin or meadow sweet dissolve or distill in the apple cider vinegar for about 3 minutes. Mix in the honey and apply to your face for about 15 minutes.
use this about once a month.
I'm trying it for the first time tonight, so here's hoping the meadowsweet is a good alternative
and I can get all the honey off!
